After 12345678 hours of traveling, we finally arrived at our stay-in place for that day. Phew! Finally! We can rest our selves for a few hours.

Bags are settled, bodies are recharged, time to start roaming Baguio! Hooray!

Here is a breakdown of places that we went in our 2 and a half day stay at Baguio.

Day 1

Good Taste Cafe & Restaurant

Ready. Get set ….. EAT!!! ❤❤

Of course, before we start roaming around we need to fill our tummies first to have enough energy. For our first night at Baguio, we ate at Good Taste Cafe and Restaurant.

Just by looking at the pile of people coming in and out of the restaurant, you can tell that this place is a must try for foodies. I also discovered that this restaurant has several floors (although I’m not sure about how many floors are there) because Ms.Lalaine got us a table on the 6th floor, though we ended up eating on the 2nd floor.

Tables are set! We ordered Sinigang, Fried Chicken, Sweet & Sour Tilapia, Siomai, Crispy Pata, Chopsuey, and 2 big bowls of Fried Rice. (Did I miss anything? haha) Obviously, we are hungry like warriors. Haha!

We ended up not finishing all our foods because we were overwhelmed by the big servings. We wrapped it up with 2 Leche flans for dessert (which only costs Php 40).

Overall the food was very good! It is also very commendable for groups because of their big servings for the right price.

Burnham Park — Night Market

After a very satisfying dinner, it’s time to walk and burn some calories we consumed. Our next stop is Burnham Park which is one of the many famous parks in Baguio.

It’s night time so we didn’t saw as many people walking in the park compared to daytime. The team decided to try one activity in the park which is biking. Not bicycle though. You can try quadbike or the one like a pedicab. (I’m not sure how are they called haha).

Then we head straight to the night market. Basically, from morning till some point at evening the road where the night market stand is just a normal road. But it turns into a night market when late-night bites. You can buy many items here for a good price, just like the Divisoria type.

Day 2

Mines View Park

Say Baguio!

Our 2nd Day adventure starts with another park. This time it’s Mines View Park. In here we saw a lot of flowers, stalls selling souvenirs, and we have a stunning view of the Baguio scenery on the edge of the park.

The Mansion

The Mansion is another attraction in Baguio, which is the summer residence of the President of the Philippines. Although visitors cannot enter The Mansion, they can only take pictures from outside. You can pay though if you want to have a tour inside.

Tree Top Adventure

Trek and trek until we drop haha

Oh boy! For me, going here was the most unforgettable and thrilling part of our Baguio trip. Tree Top Adventure offers 5 activities namely, Trekking, Canopy, Silver Surfer, Skywalk, Tree Drop, and Superman Zipline. Our package includes Trekking, Tree Drop, and Superman Zipline.

Woah! That looks really high!

First to go is the Tree Drop. This one made my heart beat crazy fast. We will be hanged 60 ft. up in the air while laying flat in the air (facing the ground), then in 1, 2, and ….. Waaaaaah! You will be dropped all the way down! You’ll feel like you are Tom Cruise in that famous Mission Impossible scene. In a matter of 2–3 seconds, it’s done. Whooo!

Prodigy’s own Supermen!
and SuperWoman!

Another one is the Superman Zip-line. Yeah, so we all know about zip-line. Now it’s my time to experience it. As I was watching other people in the zip-line I was like “hmm it looks slow, I think tree drop is scarier.” Maybe because of the adrenaline in my veins brought by the tree drop that I said that.

But when it’s my time to be 200 ft. up in the air, it was very different! Looks can be deceiving indeed. The zip-line was fast and nerve-wracking. But it was fun!

As we left Tree Top Adventure I felt that I conquered my fear of heights. (I hope so) hahaha

Oh My Gulay Cafe

Oh My Gulay Cafe is our merienda destination for Day 2.

This Cafe has overflowing artistic aura in it because it became a memorial art gallery for Mr. Victor Oteyza, one of the pioneers of Philippine modern art in the 1950s. Looking around you will feel that you time-traveled in the past because of the old school jungle theme brought by the wood materials all over the place. You can also see several paintings and sculptures.

Oh My Gulay UNIQUE Food Menu. (ctto)

You can channel your inner creativeness here while enjoying their foods with out of this world names. (which I can’t remember haha)

We ordered banana crepe, hot chocolate drink, and OMG Club sandwich. The chocolate is one of the best sellers indeed! It was very thick and rich in its natural chocolatey flavor.

Zushi Me
It’s time to turn Japanese for dinner! Judging from its name, it’s a no-brainer that this is a Japanese Restaurant.

So what do you expect in a Japanese restaurant? Of course, Ramen and Sushi. Too bad I am not a fan of Japanese foods haha. They all ordered ramen while I was the only one to order shrimp curry.

The ambiance of the place was perfect for a tiring day. The mellow music played all over will soothe your feeling while eating.

Model Moments! haha

Waiting for you outside the doorsteps is a wall with gorgeous graffiti on it like you were in Bronx. Time to shoot some insta-worthy photos with this wall.

Day 3

Botanical Garden

Golden Gate Bridge!

After we ate breakfast we walked towards the Botanical Garden. The Garden was big! There were different designs in each part with different themes. There are elephant statues, buddhas, even a small replica of the Golden Gate Bridge! We also went inside a small tunnel inside the park.

Strawberry Farm
Another famous place in Baguio that you must not miss! The strawberry farm where you can pick strawberries by yourself. We didn’t go inside strawberry farm but we saw it from the outside.

We also bought souvenirs from the market nearby because we are heading home in a few hours.

Tam-awan Village

Tam-awan Village

Tam-awan Village is the last stop for our Baguio trip. We went here to grab our lunch before heading home.

The theme of this place is very native. The place shows Baguio’s native art and culture just like that big Ifugao hut on our back.

Trekking again and again! haha

So before we eat, some of us decided to make ourselves hungry by going trekking (again) towards the sky deck where you can see the beautiful view from above the ground.

After seeing the view and breaking some sweat, now it’s time to eat!

I ordered Pork Chop for my lunch. The serving was big! The pork chop was crunchy and was deliciously served with brown rice.

So that’s it! That’s how my first time in Baguio went. This team building was indeed one for my books. The team shared stories, smiles, laughs in this trip. We ate together, slept together, traveled together.

As this trip ends, the team achieved one step closer to the main goal. Unite the team together for a common cause. To succeed together.

Till the next adventure guys. :) ❤ ❤
